Lemon Cheese Cake Bars w/ White Chocolate Chips

Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter, softened (1 stick)

2 cups white chocolate chips

1/2 cup sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

Filling

1 8 oz pkg cream cheese, softened

1 tbsp sour cream

1 tbsp sugar

1/4 cup lemon juice (more if desired)

zest of 1 lemon

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees

  2. Mix butter and sugar until fluffy

  3. Beat in eggs 1 at a time

  4. Gradually beat in flour

  5. Mix in chips, and vanilla extract

  6. Separate half of mixture

  7. Spread half into greased 8x8 inch pan

  8. Bake for 15 min until golden brown

  9. Remove from oven let cool for 10 min

  10. In a small bowl, mix cream cheese, sugar, sour cream and lemon juice

  11. Pour lemon cheese mixture over crust

  12. Spread remaining batter on top

  13. Bake for 15 min

  14. Cool completely and refrigerated for 1 hr

  15. Cut into squares, then cut squares in half
